Definitions of bandwidth on demand:
- The feature that allows a TA to dynamically allocate B channels as and when needed. For example, when downloading a file off the Internet at 64 kbps (ie, one B channel), the TA will activate the second B channel if throughput is, say, higher than 70% for more than 30 seconds, providing a combined bandwidth of 128 kbps. When the download is complete, or throughput drops under 20% for more than 20 seconds, the second B channel is deactivated and the connection reverts to 64 kbps. ...
